Full Time Sales Associate & Key Holder

About Us:

The Den Refillery, founded in 2019 by Kristen O’Keefe and Diane Rudge in Ucluelet, BC, is a sustainable retail haven dedicated to promoting eco-conscious living. Specializing in curated wellness products, we lead the way with our Sustainable & Circular Accommodation Program (SCAP) aimed at transforming hospitality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide exceptional customer service by offering product knowledge and assistance.

  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.

  • Actively engage with customers to achieve sales targets.

  • Implement sales strategies to promote products and enhance revenue.

  • Assist in day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth processes.

  • Act as a key holder, responsible for opening and closing the store.

  • Support the implementation of visual merchandising strategies.

  • Ensure effective product displays to attract customer attention.

  • Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels.

  • Participate in stock audits to maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Build positive relationships with the local community.

  • Participate in community events and explore collaboration opportunities

  • Fostering our commitment to sustainability and innovation. 

  • Must be able to work weekends 


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous retail experience [minimum of 2 years], with preference for eco friendly or sustainable retail environments

  • Passionate about sustainability and eco conscious living

  • Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills

  • Customer focus with a keen interest in wellness products

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Organization skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to to take on responsibilities as a key holder

  • Creative thinking and problem solving responsibilities

  • Must hold a driver’s license

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs

  • Must having house in Ucluelet or Tofino

 Schedule

  • Minimum of 4 days a week (with some weeks 5 days)
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • 7.5 hour shifts - (9:45am - 5:15pm)

Note: Training for this position will start end of September.
Compensation: $22.50 to $24.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
