Sales Associate & Key Holder
About Us:
The Den Refillery, founded in 2019 by Kristen O’Keefe and Diane Rudge in Ucluelet, BC, is a sustainable retail haven dedicated to promoting eco-conscious living. Specializing in curated wellness products, we lead the way with our Sustainable & Circular Accommodation Program (SCAP) aimed at transforming hospitality.
Position. Sales Associate & Key Holder - 4 days a week / weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide exceptional customer service by offering product knowledge and assistance.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Actively engage with customers to achieve sales targets.
- Implement sales strategies to promote products and enhance revenue.
- Assist in day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth processes.
- Act as a key holder, responsible for opening and closing the store.
- Support the implementation of visual merchandising strategies.
- Ensure effective product displays to attract customer attention.
- Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels.
- Participate in stock audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Build positive relationships with the local community.
- Participate in community events and explore collaboration opportunities
- Fostering our commitment to sustainability and innovation.
- Must be able to work weekends and commute between Ucluelet and Tofino.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous retail experience [minimum of 2 years], with preference for eco friendly or sustainable retail environments
- Passionate about sustainability and eco conscious living
- Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- Customer focus with a keen interest in wellness products
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Organization skills with attention to detail
- Ability to to take on responsibilities as a key holder
- Creative thinking and problem solving responsibilities
- Must hold a driver’s license
- Must be able to lift 50lbs

Compensation: $21.50 to $23.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
