The Gut Lab: Super Charged Wellness for the People, for the Planet

It’s a family thing, sisters Danica and Lexi out of Calgary, Alberta are on a heart forward mission to share health and wellness for mind, body, and spirit by means of their nourishing blends of powdered roots, herbs, fruits, and healing mushrooms.

They have a knowing that what we choose to put in and on our bodies not only impacts our personal health, but also has an impact on the planet and the health of those producing the products as well.

This is an ethos that we can no doubt get down with at The Den. We are proud to share two recipes we have created, in partnership with holistic chef Taylor Godber, with two of their products from the potion line: the green6 and the glow

What do we mean by potions? The Gut Lab potions are a blend of 6-8 organic powdered roots, herbs, fruits, + healing mushrooms created to supercharge your smoothies, shakes, soups, salad dressings, sauces, raw desserts + elixirs, or sprinkle in an oatmeal, chia seed pudding + favourite veggie dish (so, basically everything + anything)! Not only are the ingredients in the potions mindfully sourced & thoughtfully combined, but there is no junk in them either: no sugars, sweeteners, preservatives, fillers or additives. In other words, Danica and Lexi say, “what you are consuming is pure, pure health”.

We hope you’ll have as much fun creating and integrating these healthy superfood and adaptogenic blends into your routine and recipes as we did.
